EPDM Caps

Heat resistant up to 250°C Material: EPDM When sizing parts as a cap, the ID of the cap should be 2-5% smaller than the stud diameter To ensure easy removal, select a cap length that is slightly longer than the masking length of the stud. This isespecially important if the cap ID is less than 5% of the stud diameter When sizing parts as a plug, the OD should be at least 7% larger than the hole diameter If used to cover tube ends in powder coating, a small slitin the top of the cap will prevent blow off (see EZY™ Caps) Can be used as both cap and as a plug Flexible enough to conform to irregular geometry Round top profile allows for easy insertion into holes EPDM Caps are reusable and will not melt or harden
